Still In New Zealand

And not six but sixteen, this other great niece of mine, currently into doing quick change hair colours! I think her Mum said there'd been five over recent weeks. But that's not the reason I had to share this - no - it's because of the magical ability her Mum has to take stunning photographs. Don't you just love 'em?

  1. Yes I agree. She has "the eye." It seems changing hair color frequently is a universal trend. I have been watching the much younger generation these days and their trendy hair styles + clothes.

  3. I do. Love the copper fiery hair colour but that photo of the two guys at the beach... very touching. Nice.

  4. Nice pictures. When our son was in high school he dyed his hair red with Kool-Aid. It rained on his walk home and the police pulled him over. They thought he'd been shot.

  6. Oh , how I would have loved to do that at sixteen ! But the nuns would have had a collective heart attack and my mother would have wondered why infanticide was so frowned on .

  7. Yes. I do love them and that girl is like my youngest who has had every color of hair imaginable. I never know what color she is going to show up with. Right now it is black but it may not stay that way long.

  8. Love the photos. I do wonder with all the dye/chemicals in peoples hair if it could affect their health in some way.

The location of the second photo is such a typical NZ choice. We are all never far from a beach, and for most of us the seashore is an additional park. Most NZers who live overseas and find themselves far inland, yearn for sight of the sea, the sound of waves, and that smell of salt in the air.
