I'm sorry I can't leave a comment on your blog, Laura, but I have read and enjoyed your offering for this prompt, especially the last few lines. They sum up the human condition, and then some.
From emotion swell a once-silent poet writes words are drawn forth .. A nice set, Jinksy, I like. I opened a Gravatar profile so I could comment on the Word Press blogs. Take a look at "qbit's" or Rob's, click on my 'Tin Man and Me' photo there before my comment. It's easy to get one, most of them open a Blogger account so they can comment on yours. .. ..
As I already have a profile image set up, I'm loathe to enter another one into the mix! But thanks for the tip - I'll maybe investigate further, when I have time. :-)
I think a small Light-shine person may be seen peeping at us, just left of centre? (But they do hide themselves well ?!) I'm glad you found some of their light reflected in the words..
Curiosity Cats can leave a whisker here...but not before noting, please, that I choose to have an award free, tag free, meme free blog. But by all means, talk to me by email - I love to 'chat'...
Many things do create the poet. I like where the image took you Jinksy and as always love your photo creativity!
ReplyDeleteThanks for providing the diving board I jump from. lol
Delete"from emotion's well ... a poet writes" So true. Well said.

Ooer - Capital letters have invaded Blogland, perhaps (?!) or else there's a gremlin with hiccups on the loose, inside my computer :-)
DeleteWhat a wonderful take on the prompt. The last few lines are really inspiring!
ReplyDeleteInspiration is one thing that remains free... ♥
DeleteI like the analogy of writing with that lexicon of silent words

These lines brought the light and wonder to the forefront, confounding my expectations of the image. Wonderful!
