Painting Without Paint

This feels like a cockerel. It started life as a photograph of my granddaughter's Easter bonnet- I am hooked on Arcsoft!

The world of computer graphics opens doors to possibilities my own brain would never have dreamed possible.
What is so incredible, the selfsame photograph also gave rise to this totally different blue creation.

Can you understand the attraction of this modern day equivalent to painting by numbers?

  1. You may call it painting by numbers, but I very much doubt that, if I were to try this, I would achieve such a good result!

  5. ---and a green dinosaur, and a yellow pig w/coal black eyes, a hellish winged brown demon with a yellow goose of course. It puts me in mind of Madeline's Easter bonnet for Bon Bon, which flew away through the streets of Paris ---do you know that childrens' series? Emily and I love it. How about Pen's Photo Prompts?

  8. Penny - I get it completely ... the ability to express your emotions and creative yearnings boldly in living colour. Your creations are striking ... I would hang them gladly in my home. Ode to you -- my multi faceted art-eest!

  10. Isn't it fun playing with photo software sometimes? I once created a psychedelic picture of a surfer standing on a rock with his board. The colours were all wrong but it looked great. So do your pictures. - Dave
