And you can see how pleased she was!
She certainly had the urge to get up and go. She walked at eleven months, and has been getting up and going ever since - only these days, that's all over the world!
...ponderings from the pen of a poet, via the heart of a human, often touched by the wicked sense of humour of an observer of oddities...

What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo!
ReplyDeleteShe does look like she is ready to stand up and go. She looks like she is ready to meet the world head on. They are great photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots to have in the album ... or shoebox. :)
ReplyDeleteThe sweet smile of success!
ReplyDeleteYou can see the early evidence of an adventurous spirit, diapers not withstanding.
ReplyDeletea moment that deserves to be remembered.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww . . . I remember how cute she was. Even then you could see the quietly determined, unassuming, kind-hearted but strong, person within - and I love her to bits.
ReplyDelete(I think she learnt to crawl so early to escape from her older cousin who biffed her and bit her)
Precious!
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see them again and again.
That glow of achievement !!
ReplyDeleteAh, those first steps. Not to be missed.
ReplyDeleteThe sort of shots you love for ever!
ReplyDeleteAwww too sweet.
ReplyDeleteShe almost looks like she is participating in an exercise class!
ReplyDeleteObviously her future was foretold in those early crawling months Pen.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet trio of photos. She appears free, unrestrained by heavier layers of clothing and moving easily. I suspect she is more clothed in her travels now though.
ReplyDeleteEarly press-ups. She is obviously a 'get up and go' girl. Lovely pictures - so effective in black and white.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Isn't it fun to find forgotten photos of memorable moments in any color?
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have caught those moments in photos. After all, it wasn't digital photography when everything can be captured in detail.
ReplyDeleteSounds like she's a real goer Pen. Good to see those photos - Dave
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures; a reminder of times gone past.
ReplyDeleteI wish my folks had taken photos of me crawling because apparently I did it backwards at a tremendous speed. Not sure what that says about me, but I really like your fun photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat precious photos to keep close! You can't ever get enough of these adorable shots!
