Ready, Steady, Go?

I found this little collection of photos today, and for once, they will tie in well with the subject on Sepia Saturday - a  little girl.  For these were taken by my Bro in 1968, probably in June, and are of my daughter who crawled when she was six months old...









And you can see how pleased she was! 








 

She certainly had the urge to get up and go. She walked at eleven months, and has been getting up and going ever since - only these days, that's all over the world!

    Awwwwww . . . I remember how cute she was. Even then you could see the quietly determined, unassuming, kind-hearted but strong, person within - and I love her to bits.
    (I think she learnt to crawl so early to escape from her older cousin who biffed her and bit her)

    Very sweet trio of photos. She appears free, unrestrained by heavier layers of clothing and moving easily. I suspect she is more clothed in her travels now though.

    I wish my folks had taken photos of me crawling because apparently I did it backwards at a tremendous speed. Not sure what that says about me, but I really like your fun photos.
